Vanini Masterclass 19th - 22nd July 2012 An early bird discount is available if booked before 31st December 2011 A unique chance to see the developer of the Enamel plus HFO composite system and one of the leading restorative dentists in Europe in the beauty of the Northern Italian Lakes. The purpose of the course is to teach a modern and innovative technique for the conservative restoration of anterior teeth with composite materials. This method implies a new and original approach, where the indications for composite restorations, colour determination, the compilation of the colour chart for the communication and documentation of the case, the preparation of the cavity, adhesive techniques, layering, finishing and polishing are considered in a different way. The planning of each step makes this a standardized technique that gives reliable results. The teaching program is supported by the projection of a rich range of clinical cases that have been documented over the last twenty years, adding data from the research and analysis of the international literature, with videos showing the most important steps of the technique. The participants will enjoy the clinical demonstrations on patients with live video recording and practical work on a simulator, under the direction of Dr Vanini and his dental technicians. Thursday - Flight to Milan Malpensa airport mid to late afternoon and transfer by coach to Lenno on Lake Como Saturday - Lectures by Dr Vanini - reviewing clinical cases completed, which materials used and results - Aesthetic shaded posts and luting resins. Late Morning and afternoon is hands on practical for delegates, building up a full incisal tooth on a model from a projected picture using chromatic mapping, stratification/layering etc and incorporating techniques, materials and instruments. Travel back to Milan for the evening. Sunday - shop/sightsee before making your way to the airport for return flights home. Testimonial " For any practicing dentist who wishes to develop the skill and ability to produce truly aesthetic composite restorations then the 'Hands-on' HFO Vanini course is a must. The course gives a comprehensive overview of each step for all the stages and situations that you are likely experience in everyday clinical practice. Furthermore, the venue is second to none and hospitality afforded by both Micerium and Optident during the course surpasses anything i have ever experienced on any course before this course or since!
