Futar D and Futar D Fast are syringeable bite registration materials, which are also indicated for use in centric occlusion. They can be successfully used for coating bite registration forks and as a locating material, such as for Gothic arch tracings. The materials are also ideal for fabricating model segments for fitting down porcelain and composite inlays and onlays etc.to grind in the occlusion on the model.
Futar D has a total working time of 30 secs, an intraoral setting time of 1min.30 secs and a setting time of 2 mins. Futar D Fast has a total working time of 15 secs, intraoral setting time of 45 secs and a setting time of 1 min.

• An extremely high Shore D hardness (at least 43) means the material can be trimmed with a bur; the correct bite can be checked in the mouth as excess material can be broken off; the upper and lower models can be aligned exactly.
• Minimal elasticity means that the bite registration will not flex while the two models are being aligned.
• Highly thixotropic, it will not run into the interdental spaces, therefore is easily removed from the mouth.
